Through the optimization of all operational parameters and its steadfast commitment to sustainability, the marina is evolving into a central hub for yachting and marine activities, presenting high occupancy rates and new, exciting proposals for its clients and the wider region.

In more detail, the summer period of 2025 proved particularly active for Marina Porto Heli, with the average occupancy reaching 79.40%, recording a 4% increase compared to 2024 data. The summer’s performance was significantly boosted by vessel arrivals, with the peak months of July and August recording occupancies of 91% and 100% respectively.

Overall during the year, Marina Porto Heli welcomed 1,456 vessels. Requests for berthing increasingly concern longer time periods, as interest in annual and winter reservations grows, consequently, summer season visitors now face intense competition when planning their berthing in the area.

Marina Porto Heli continues to prove its attractiveness and its ability to respond to the constantly evolving needs of the yachting industry. During the winter period, the marina increased its occupancy rate by 4.33%, achieving the goal of attracting more vessels, with annual and winter contracts.

Leveraging the significant achievements of recent years, Marina Porto Heli is proceeding with a series of strategic initiatives to be implemented within the next two years. Among these is the completion of the fuel station for both berthed and passing vessels, ensuring easy and immediate refueling capabilities.

Simultaneously, within the framework of its environmental sensitivity, the marina will enhance its vessel service provisions with the use of new mobile units for collecting bilge water and waste. Also, a collaboration with a national electricity provider is underway, aiming at the installation of electric vehicle charging stations, confirming its steadfast commitment to sustainable development.

The marina is expanding its provided services, operating a new dining space within its facilities, offering visitors a new gastronomic experience in an exceptional setting. At the brand new Noi, visitors can enjoy Mediterranean flavors and refreshing spritzes with a unique view of the marina, in a space that combines vibrancy and relaxation.

The General Manager of Marina Porto Heli, Zacharias Kiaffas, comments: “After five years of operation, Marina Porto Heli has established a benchmark environment for yachting, reflecting its steadfast vision for providing excellent services and maintaining high-quality standards.

New technologies are under study, with a focus on sustainability and safety, focused exclusively on the further development of the facilities.

Within a digitally demanding future, the management and staff of the marina work systematically for the continuous upgrade of excellence levels, ensuring that Marina Porto Heli will continue to shine as a beacon of innovation.”

In Porto Heli, east of Argolida in the Peloponnese, the modern Marina Porto Heli is the ideal location for berthing sailing and motor vessels.

The spacious tourist port can accommodate 149 sailing and motor vessels with a current maximum length of 55 meters. The facilities provide electrical supply to vessels up to 125A, while the marina has been constructed in an entirely environmentally friendly manner, as a strict code of environmental conduct is maintained and the water quality is controlled to comply with the criteria set by the respective authorities.
