Must read

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, announced that its group company MOL has renewed its corporate partnership with Royal Museums Greenwich which was initially finalized in August 2024. MOLEA became the first Japanese shipping company to conclude such an agreement, with the aim of enhancing the MOL Group’s presence among maritime stakeholders and local communities in the United Kingdom.

Through this corporate partnership, MOLEA will work together with RMG to strengthen ties with local communities while promoting initiatives to convey the appeal and importance of the shipping industry to the next generation. The partnership with RMG will also provide MOL Group’s employees with opportunities to learn about maritime history, deepen their understanding, and foster engagements with a wide range of maritime stakeholders in and around London.

As part of its previous initiatives with RMG, MOL Group employees in London participated in RMG’s first ever “Careers Day,” which introduced the maritime sector to local students in the area. At this event, they engaged with approximately 300 students from schools across the city, introducing MOL’s business activities and career options within the shipping industry.

Furthermore, MOLEA’s London office invited an RMG expert to give a lecture for employees on the evolution of ship design.
