Molgas Energy Group (“Molgas”), backed by infrastructure investor InfraVia, has completed the full acquisition of Titan Energy Holding, the parent company of Titan Clean Fuels (“Titan”), the company said in a statement.

The deal follows Molgas’ previous 45% minority stake and marks an expansion of its presence in the clean marine fuels market.

Titan, an independent supplier of liquefied biomethane (/bio-LNG) and LNG, operates a fleet of small-scale bunkering vessels across several global markets, with a core focus in Northwest Europe. Its operations will now merge with Molgas’ activities in Norway, integrating all truck-to-ship and ship-to-ship supply services across Norway and continental Europe.

Following the acquisition, Molgas Energy Group manages seven LNG bunkering vessels and operates a network of more than 70 road-fuelling stations, with over 200 points of sale including partner locations. The group positions itself as a European provider of downstream LNG and bio-LNG solutions for industrial, road transport, and maritime sectors.

After the integration, Niels den Nijs will serve as Executive Vice President, Marine, leading all marine activities within Molgas.

Molgas CEO Sofoklis Papanikolaou said that the acquisition builds on a successful earlier collaboration and strengthens the group’s reach and technical expertise in marine fuels and decarbonisation.

Titan CEO Niels den Nijs said the merger enhances financial stability and customer service, helping to scale clean fuel solutions for shipping. InfraVia Partner Athanasios Zoulovits stated that Titan’s expertise positions Molgas to lead in scalable clean marine fuel delivery.

Titan continues to focus on LNG, LBM, and e-methane as viable options for reducing emissions in shipping, developing flexible and cost-effective supply programs with shipowners and operators.
