MSC mejora servicios entre Asia y el Mediterráneo

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) announced that it will improve two of its services connecting Asia with the Mediterranean.

According to the shipping line, “this is part of MSC’s commitment to offering its customers the most competitive transit times and a wide range of direct connectivity between port pairs”.

In this context, the Dragon service will add direct calls to the ports of Málaga and Naples, facilitating access to the market of southern Spain and southern Italy. The fastest transit times will be towards Genoa and La Spezia. From Shanghai to Genoa, the journey will be seven days faster.

The first voyage with the changes will be FD 621W with an estimated time of arrival in Ningbo on 18 May 2026. The new rotation for Dragon will be Ningbo – Shanghai – Yantian – Singapore – Málaga – Genoa – La Spezia – Naples – Sines – Boston – New York – Baltimore – Norfolk – Savannah – Freeport – Ningbo.

Likewise, the Tiger service will also have adjustments and Tekirdag will become the first port of call, reducing transit times by up to ten days and facilitating uninterrupted access to the Black Sea and Turkey. The duration of the crossing between Asia, Istanbul and Yarimca will be reduced by 4 days, making this service one of the fastest on the market.

Aliaga also joins the service, resulting in a reduction of a full week in transit time. The first voyage will be GT 620W, with an expected arrival in Dalian on 15 May 2026. The new rotation for Tiger will be Dalian – Xingang – Busan – Ningbo – Shanghai – Shekou – Singapore – Tekirdag – Yarimca – Istanbul – Tekirdag – Aliaga – Mersin – Abidjan – Lomé – Hong Kong – Xiamen – Dalian.
