At the Chinese shipyard Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding, the vessel with the distinctive number MW467-2 was launched, while construction of MW468-3 began with the keel laying ceremony.
As characteristically emphasized, each stage of the project brings closer the delivery of Neptune’s new generation of LNG dual-fuel PCTCs, which are designed for more efficient and environmentally friendly short-sea vehicle transport.
Upon its completion, the expanded Genesis Project will include a total of six state-of-the-art vessels, strengthening Neptune’s fleet and the transition to greener maritime transport.
