Must read

Arvia will set sail for its maiden season in January 2023 with exclusive opportunities for guests

Arvia, P&O Cruises’ newest ship, will offer a range of exclusive shore experiences in the Caribbean that are not available on any other vessel in the fleet.

In St Lucia, guests will be able to explore the northern coastline on solar-powered iRide scooters. Sights on the journey include Rodney Bay Marina, Pigeon Island National Landmark, the Cas-en-Bas Viewpoint and Rodney Bay.

Guests will also have access to the facilities of the Be Live Collection Canoa resort in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic, which includes a swimming pool and open bar.

In St Kitts, guests will have opportunity to take part in a batik workshop, which features wax and fabric dying, in the ancestral home of Caribelle Batik.

Caribbean cuisine and rhum – a type of rum only distilled on French Caribbean islands – tasting will be available for guests at St Maarten, involving a demonstration of how various Caribbean dishes are made before dining in a 17th-century wine cellar, followed by a tour of the Topper’s Rhum Distillery.

There is an additional distillery experience for guests in Barbados at the Foursquare Rum Distillery. Guests can learn about the history of the distillery and take part in a tasting session before being guided to DreadHop Brewing, where they can then learn about local hand-crafted.

Arvia will embark on its maiden season from the UK to the Caribbean in January 2023.
