Nereus Shipping S.A. took delivery of the newly built LR2 “NORTH STAR” from Vinashin Vietnam shipyard.
The vessel, with a capacity of 115,000 MT, was built by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and delivered on April 28, 2025.
The second in a series of four sister vessels, it was constructed to high specifications and meets the requirements of major oil companies and terminal operators.
Local supervision was conducted by the site office of Nereus Shipping S.A. personnel.
As with the rest of the company’s fleet, Nereus Shipping S.A. managed the entire process from the Contract stage, Specification review, plan approval, maker selection, supervision, and delivery.
