MT Højgaard Danmark has now placed more than 400 meters of spun piles in the water out of the approximately 1,000 meters of spun piles that will form the frame for the final part of the Omniterminal.
Each spun pile weighs up to nine tons and must be placed more than 15 meters down into the seabed. They are vibrated in to create as little noise as possible.
The new quay will be 430 meters long and will have a water depth of 14 meters. All 430 meters are expected to be ready by the end of 2026,
