Under European law, the proposed transaction must first complete mandatory consultations with relevant works councils. After the consultations, YLEU and Walden will formally sign a share purchase agreement based on the signed put option agreement. Upon obtaining regulatory approvals, Movianto will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of YLEU.

It is understood that Walden’s healthcare logistics business focuses on the medical industry and includes entities such as Movianto, Eurotranspharma, Transpharma International, and Walden Digital. Walden operates across 138 sites in 12 European countries, providing customers with contract logistics, fourth-party logistics (4PL), and other services.

This acquisition of Walden’s healthcare logistics business will significantly expand Yusen Logistics Global Management Ltd.’s scale in the European healthcare logistics sector.
