A number of Panalpina employees in Switzerland have contacted DSV’s major shareholder the Ernst Göhner Foundation in a dispute about major layoffs. The hope is that the foundation can help the employees ensure better severance packages. The dispute especially concerns financial compensation.
Some employees at Panalpina’s Swiss headquarters are now trying to get DSV’s major shareholder the Ernst Göhner Foundation involved in the integration of the two companies by helping the former Panalpina employees in Basel that are set to lose their jobs, WPO learns from a number of sources with knowledge on the matter.
