The company Pinnacle Car Carriers AS launched its new brand of vehicle transport vessels with the naming ceremony of the PCC Kilimanjaro and the PCC Patagonia, in an event organized by CMI Weihai Shipyard, belonging to China Merchants Group.

These vessels represent the final deliveries of the current series and simultaneously constitute the first ships under the new identity of the vehicle transport firm.
The company shares this project with Solvang ASA, its joint venture partner, and with the firm Reederei F. Laeisz, responsible for the technical management of the newbuilds.
The day also allowed for a reunion with the charterers of the PCC Kilimanjaro, who maintain a long-term commitment to that vessel. The closing of the event featured the participation of two godmothers, who blessed the ships and wished them safe voyages and successful operations.
