Port guards from PortosRio have completed an intensive Authority Protection training, with 40 hours of theoretical and practical instruction aimed at technical and operational improvement.
The training was conducted by Abrapam and featured a highly qualified team of instructors, composed of a former member of the Institutional Security Office of the Presidency of the Republic (GSI), with experience in protecting four presidents of the Republic; an elite unit operator from the Rio de Janeiro Police; and a former instructor from the Navy Special Forces.
During the course, participants conducted realistic simulations of authority escort (VIP Protection), with applied shooting exercises, route planning, counter-surveillance techniques, and convoy movement protocols, reinforcing preparedness and response capacity in highly complex situations.
“This investment reinforces PortosRio’s commitment to security, operational readiness, and the appreciation of the professionals who protect our ports every day,” highlights Jorge Dantas, superintendent of the PortosRio Port Guard.
