Swedish pole vault star Mondo Duplantis will headline this year’s Herculis EBS meeting on July 10, with organisers introducing a historic second pole vault competition for the first time in Monaco Diamond League history. Now a Monaco resident, Duplantis said he hopes to deliver “something special” at Stade Louis II and has set his sights on improving his own world record after clearing 6.05m at last year’s meeting. Other confirmed athletes include Olympic and world 1500m champion Faith Kipyegon in the 3000m and French distance star Jimmy Gressier in the 5000m.
