India’s Shipping Ministry has instructed that priority berthing should be accorded to vessels carrying finished fertilizers, raw materials and intermediates intended for fertilizer production during the 2025 Kharif crop (also known as monsoon crop) season.
This measure is aimed at facilitating the timely movement of fertilizers from ports to ensure that nationwide requirements for Kharif are met.
