China News Service, Beijing, June 18 (Chen Hang, Han Yingying, Qi Qi) The “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Blue Book: Report on Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Logistics Collaborative Development (2025)”, released in Beijing on the 18th, proposes that smart logistics will become a new engine driving Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaboration. New-generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things will be deeply applied in warehouse scheduling, transport route optimization, cold chain monitoring, and supply chain management, achieving intelligent perception and decision-making throughout the entire logistics process. The three regions plan to jointly build a “Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Digital and Smart Logistics Collaboration Platform,” which will facilitate the interconnection of information systems and the sharing of data resources, enhancing the overall efficiency and safety of the regional logistics network operation.
The report was compiled by the Beijing Modern Logistics Research Base of Beijing Wuzi University. According to the report, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei logistics integration has entered a new phase characterized by “quality improvement, deepened collaboration, and green transformation.” The regional integration system and digital-intelligent foundation have been preliminarily formed, and synergistic effects are gradually emerging.
The report points out that looking to the future, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei logistics collaboration will continue to advance towards the four major development directions of “digital-intelligence, greening, integration, and high quality.” In the future, the three regions will rely on existing transportation networks and industrial layouts to further promote cross-regional logistics infrastructure interconnection. Through unified regional planning, a collaborative network of ports, airports, railways, highways, inland ports, and logistics parks will be formed, constructing an efficient logistics corridor system covering the entire region. Tianjin Port will strengthen its international hub functions, Beijing will focus on high-end logistics and supply chain management, and Hebei will focus on manufacturing and bulk commodity logistics, forming a logistics pattern with clear division of labor and complementary mutual benefits.
According to the report, under the guidance of the “dual carbon” goals, green logistics will become an important direction for collaborative development. Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei will promote the adoption of new energy transport vehicles, green warehouse renovation, and the construction of a recyclable packaging system, promoting railway multimodal transport and the “road to rail” and “road to water” models to reduce transportation energy consumption and carbon emissions. At the same time, through policy guidance and the joint construction of standard systems, a green logistics standard and evaluation system covering the three regions will be formed.
The report points out that with the deep integration of regional industrial and supply chains, the logistics industry will form closer interactions with the manufacturing and commercial trade industries. The three regions will jointly build a number of demonstration smart logistics parks and innovation centers, promote the joint training of logistics talents and the construction of mobility mechanisms, and support the high-quality development of the regional logistics industry.
