The group’s share amounts to approximately 900 million euros.

Milan – Saipem has been awarded a new onshore contract for the Uthmaniyah Gas Compression Plant project in Saudi Arabia. The contract, with a duration of approximately 42 months, has been assigned to Saipem Nasser Saeed Al Hajri Contracting Company (SNSH), a joint venture participated by Saipem and Nasser Saeed Al Hajri and Partners Company for Contracting (NSH). Saipem’s share is worth approximately 900 million euros.

The project includes engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities for the construction of a new compression plant intended for the Uthmaniyah non-associated gas field. The infrastructure will help extend the productive life of the field and support the Kingdom’s growing energy demand.

The Uthmaniyah Gas Compression Plant also represents the first EPC project awarded under the National EPC Champion Program, an initiative aimed at creating a national champion capable of covering the entire chain of onshore EPC activities, maximizing local resources, skills and content.

In this context, Saipem and NSH, among the main Saudi operators in the onshore construction sector, have established SNSH in Saudi Arabia. The joint venture combines Saipem’s expertise in engineering and project management with NSH’s consolidated construction experience, strengthening the capacity to execute complex projects in the country.
