Scorpio Tankers Inc.announced the signing of an agreement for the sale of its medium-sized tanker equipped with scrubbers,STI Maestro, built in 2020.
The agreed sale price is $42 million and the transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2025. The ship is 183 meters long, 32 meters wide and sails under the flag of the Marshall Islands.
Currently, Scorpio Tankers Inc. owns or leases 99 product tankers (38 LR2, 47 MR and 14 Handymax) with an average age of 9.5 years.
