The Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Seville has approved the granting of an administrative concession to Tasty Gastrofood SLU for the installation of a demountable kiosk on part of the Camaronero dock for a period of 10 years. On the other hand, the Board has also given the green light to the administrative concession to the urban planning management for the construction of the pedestrian footbridge in the section of the dock located between the San Telmo and Los Remedios bridges. This footbridge will be part of the Vera Sevilla project which aims to recover and integrate the old facilities of the Altadis Tobacco Factory into the city.

New connection with the Canary Islands
Rafael Carmona, president of the Port Authority of Seville, has informed the board members of the new weekly CMA CGM service that connects Seville, from the Guadalquivir Maritime Terminal, with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In total, the port of Seville offers five weekly departures to the Canary Islands archipelago: three operated by CMA CGM and two by Boluda Lines.
