Tarragona Cruise Port consolidates its positioning as an emerging benchmark port in the Western Mediterranean after its participation in the International Cruise Summit. This event brought together the main cruise lines in the sector as well as numerous ports, tourist destinations, and companies associated with the cruise sector with the aim of debating the main industry trends, with special attention on the commitment to sustainability, digital transformation, and new markets. This assessment is the result of the good results of this season and the forecasts for the next one. The 65 calls and the forecast of 120,000 passengers show the consolidation of Tarragona as a cruise destination already rooted in the Western Mediterranean itineraries. The International Cruise Summit has allowed us to see the growing interest of more and more cruise lines in the possibilities that the Costa Daurada offers to cruise passengers, thanks to the combination of heritage, gastronomy, leisure, wine tourism, and landscapes.
