TechnipFMC has secured a major(1) integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (iEPCI™) contract from Equinor for the Heidrun field extension project in the Norwegian North Sea.
The contract follows an integrated Front End Engineering and Design (iFEED™) study conducted by TechnipFMC. The project will upgrade existing infrastructure and extend the production lifespan of the Heidrun platform.
Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea at TechnipFMC, stated: “This direct award demonstrates the value of early collaboration, which resulted in an optimized field layout. We look forward to applying our iEPCI™ integrated approach to enhance this key asset for Equinor.”
(1) For TechnipFMC, a “significant” contract ranges between $75 million and $250 million. This contract was recorded in inbound orders for Q2 2025.
