As Dimitris Stefanou (photo) revealed to TradeWinds, two scenarios are being considered: either the order of newbuild aframax-type tankers, or the purchase of two modern second hand vessels.
It is noted that since 2000, the two brothers have developed their fleet with steady, privately financed steps, without excesses, reaching the management of over 30 vessels, among them five passenger vessels of their own ownership and three third-party bulkers. Parallel to the tanker plans, the shipping family continues the moves to renew their traditional bulk carrier fleet.
