The fast ferry Corsica Express Three leaves the BluNavy fleet

A few months after moving from Corsica Ferries to BluNavy (BN di Navigazione), the fast ferry Corsica Express Three is preparing to set course for Greece.

According to what was learned by SHIPPING ITALY, in fact, the closing of the deal that will lead the ship to pass into the hands of the company Pikessea Shipping Ltd, which operates in Cyprus, will take place this week. The sale price has not yet emerged, but in recent months the fast ferry had been purchased for about 3 million euros by BN di Navigazione, a few months after the finalization of the agreement that led Blu Navy to take over the brand and slots of Elba Ferries from Corsica Ferries.

Corsica Express Three is a fast craft built in 1996 in Italy by the Rodriquez shipyard, it has a length of 103 meters, a width of 15, a speed of 37 knots, and a capacity to host over 500 passengers and 150 cars on board. In the recent past, it has always been employed between Piombino and Portoferraio and between Piombino and Bastia.
