Caixin News Agency, November 12 – The Simandou iron ore project in Guinea officially held its production commencement ceremony on the 11th. A Caixin reporter learned from relevant sources that the project initiated iron ore loading operations on the day of the ceremony. The cargo is transferred to transport ships via shuttle vessels. The first returning bulk carrier has a capacity of up to 210,000 tons and is expected to arrive in China in January next year.
