A group of individuals installed incendiary barricades on the access branch to the Port of San Antonio, which caused the suspension of vehicular traffic in both directions.
The incidents began around 10:20 in the morning, which has generated high congestion, leaving cars and cargo trucks trapped in traffic.
“Alert. Barricades at kilometer 6, Independencia sector, new port access route in both directions. Traffic suspended. Drive with caution,” indicated Autopista Ruta 78 through the social network X.
“Caution. Vehicular traffic remains disabled on the access branch to the Port of San Antonio, near Agunsa. High vehicular congestion remains, mainly of cargo transport, in both directions,” stated TransporteInforma Región de Valparaíso.
The protest, which lasted about an hour, came to an end without major issues, according to an update from Autopista Ruta 78. In this way, the roadway would be completely enabled.
