On October 11, the production site of CSSC Guijiang Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CSSC Guangxi Company under China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, reported frequent successes. It efficiently completed three important milestones, including the launching of two newly built ships and the sea trial of one ship, fully demonstrating the company’s effectiveness in lean management practices.

During the shipbuilding process, Guijiang Shipbuilding issued a production攻坚 order for the fourth quarter, further advancing refined production management. It closely monitored critical paths and construction difficulties, strengthened production plan management, organized key employees for focused breakthroughs, and promoted the forward shifting of processes, workflow optimization, and seamless connection between stages. At 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, two newly built ships were successfully launched successively at the No. 3 berth and Workshop 106, with the entire process proceeding smoothly.

During the quayside outfitting stage of another ship, Guijiang Shipbuilding further eliminated waste in areas such as waiting, handling, and inventory. Through unitized assembly, modular installation, and Kanban management, it promoted precise material distribution and tight integration of processes, significantly shortening the ship’s quayside period and achieving an on-schedule sea trial at 8:00 AM that day.

Moving forward, Guijiang Shipbuilding will continue to deepen lean management, steadily advancing towards the goals of higher efficiency, shorter cycles, and better quality, to deliver more high-quality ships to customers.
