At 14:58 on June 29, Yangzhou Guoyu Shipbuilding held the keel laying ceremony for two 4800TEU container vessels NGY0005 and NGY0006 built for Shanghai Changshun Shipping.
Keel laying is a core milestone in ship construction, marking the full commencement of the main structure construction. This dual-vessel simultaneous operation involved intensive processes and significant coordination challenges. All teams and departments worked closely together, meticulously controlled the procedures, and successfully completed the milestone on schedule. Leaders from the maritime authority, representatives from China Classification Society (CCS), shipowner representatives, and shipyard leaders jointly attended the ceremony to witness this important moment.
At 15:58 on June 30, the 50,000-ton /chemical tanker built by Guoyu Shipbuilding for Dexin successfully launched.
This /chemical tanker required stringent process standards and high construction requirements. The construction team withstood the pressure of a tight schedule, worked overtime to accelerate progress, strictly controlled quality and safety, successfully completed the berth construction, and smoothly launched the vessel, entering a new phase of outfitting, mooring trials, sea trials, and delivery.
Two vessels had their keels laid, and one vessel bravely launched into the water. The successful completion of these two milestones represents not only phased achievements but also the starting point for sprinting toward new goals. All personnel will continue to maintain their aggressive momentum, anchor the annual production and delivery targets, steadily advance subsequent construction, fully strive for various milestone tasks, and work hard to fulfill contracts, improve quality, and increase efficiency!
