U-Ming Shipping was included in the portfolio of the Taiwan FTSE Sustainability Index, jointly compiled by Taiwan Index Company and FTSE Russell. This is the first investment-grade ESG listing on the island nation that comprehensively combines environmental (E), social (S), corporate governance (G) and financial indicators for analysis.
According to the company, the growing use of the Taiwan Sustainability Index in investments will reinforce its representativeness, highlight U-Ming Shipping’s performance in actively practicing sustainable development, and foster continued attention from all sectors of Taiwan towards the development of responsible investment in the country.
“The fact that U-Ming has been included in the index for several consecutive years confirms its achievements in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and its commitment to the future.
