The Ukrainian Army claimed it had attacked an oil terminal in occupied Crimea and a Russian explosives factory.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported that a fire broke out following the offensive against the facilities of the JSC Maritime Oil Terminal in Feodosia, in eastern Crimea.

The regional governor, Gleb Nikitin, stated that air defense forces had repelled a night attack of 20 drones near Dzerzhinsk, where the factory is located, and added that one person was injured by falling debris.

Nikitin said the fire caused some damage to homes, but “there was no damage to industrial facilities.” The Sverdlov plant is Russia’s only major manufacturer of the high-power explosives RDX and HMX, according to a Ukrainian intelligence official and the Council of the European Union, which sanctioned the company in 2023 for its role in the war in Ukraine.

The statement from the Ukrainian General Staff added that the country’s forces had also attacked an ammunition depot in occupied Crimea.
