The Mario Monreal cultural center in Sagunto is hosting the exhibition ‘Consciència en verd’ (Conscience in Green), organized by the Valencia Port Authority, until November 2. This is a display of cartoons that combine art, humor, and irony to invite the public to reflect on individual and collective responsibility in caring for the environment. After its successful run at the Edificio del Reloj in Valencia, this exhibition now arrives in Sagunto. The opening ceremony was attended by the town’s mayor, Daniel Moreno, and the commissioner of the port of Sagunto, Raul Cueto.

“This type of initiative is fundamental because it invites us to reflect on caring for the planet from a cultural, close, and possible perspective,” said the port commissioner Raul Cueto. For his part, the mayor of Sagunto, Daniel Moreno, highlighted the importance of continuing to fight against the climate emergency. “It is a collective struggle, which is based on science but which we need to reach everyone. This type of initiative helps us raise awareness in a kind, fun, and accessible way for anyone,” Moreno stated. The exhibition, which will be open until November 2, has free admission.
