Veson Nautical has introduced a new AI-driven module for its IMOS freight management system, aimed at streamlining demurrage claims processing.
The IMOS X Claims CoCaptain tool is designed to automate manual tasks and improve visibility across the claims workflow. Built into the IMOS platform, it uses artificial intelligence to extract key data from voyage documents and emails, integrating directly with financial systems to share updates.

“As the claims settlement process is a critical and costly part of the freight contract lifecycle, managing both from a single platform provides numerous efficiencies and reduces errors. The IMOS foundation and data will allow claims specialists and operators to more strategically manage the claims outcome.”
The module is available via IMOS X, Veson’s latest user interface, for all IMOS platform clients.
