Stp, the company that has been managing public transport services in the city and province of Brindisi for over 40 years, has launched a tender for the “bareboat charter” of a vessel to be used for connections within the port. Specifically, the company aims to award a contract lasting 12 months (plus another 12 for a possible extension) for a base amount (including security charges and excluding VAT) of 516,000 euros (1,032,000 for all 24 months).
The tender outlines two possible solutions, in any case relating to vessels with a transport capacity of at least 40 people including the crew: either the charter of a monohull boat (between 15 and 24 meters long) or that of a catamaran (between 12 and 18 meters long). The deadline for submitting bids is set for next December 22.
The last awardee of the service, for a three-month contract based on an offer worth 129 thousand euros, was D’Oriano Maria Edelma Srl, a Brindisi-based company that also operates in road transport and offers various services in the maritime and port sector.
