Tamer Kıran, Chairman of the Board of İMEAK Chamber of Maritime Commerce, hosted Ordu University Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Baş at his office in Altunizade.
Prof. Dr. Özkan Uğurlu, Dean of Ordu University Fatsa Faculty of Marine Sciences, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Şenbursa, Vice Dean, also attended the visit.
Prof. Dr. Orhan Baş thanked Tamer Kıran for his support in the construction of the “Maritime Training Center” affiliated with Fatsa Faculty of Marine Sciences, which was commissioned by the Chamber of Maritime Commerce, and invited Kıran to the center’s opening ceremony upon completion of the construction.
A protocol was signed between İMEAK Chamber of Maritime Commerce and Ordu University regarding the “Conditional Donation for the Construction of the Maritime Training Center” affiliated with the university’s Fatsa Faculty of Marine Sciences. It was decided that the 1,000-square-meter facility to be built would be named the “İMEAK Chamber of Maritime Commerce Maritime Training Center.”
