Neptune Marine has signed a letter of intent with Spanish offshore support vessel owner and operator Zumaia Offshore for the construction of a new multipurpose OSV.
The new DP2 OSV will be 59 m long and 18 m wide, and will be named Saskia B.
This will add to Zumaia Offshore’s current fleet of two vessels – the DP2 hybrid multipurpose OSV Nora B and the DP2 MPSV Bertha B.
Neptune Marine has already bagged one order for a new offshore vessel in the form of a methanol-ready cable layer for compatriot N-Sea.
Delivery to the Netherlands is set for the fourth quarter of 2025. Installation and commissioning will occur in the second quarter of 2026.
