On June 23, the fourth China International Supply Chain Expo entered its second day. Zhongtian Technology officially released a new generation 16,000-ton “Blue Ocean Navigator” submarine cable laying vessel at the exhibition site, providing strong equipment support for deep-sea energy development with a heavyweight marine engineering asset.

The “Blue Ocean Navigator” has a displacement of 35,000 tons and a maximum full-load speed of 12 knots, enabling rapid construction deployment; its full set of lifting equipment can meet diverse submarine cable construction needs; its cable turntable has a cable-carrying capacity of 16,000 tons, with flexible loading methods, equivalent to the weight of 5,000 large SUVs in terms of cable load; the new laying and burial equipment features deep burial depth and high precision, integrating advanced sensors to monitor the cable status throughout the construction process; equipped with a deep-sea ROV, it is capable of operating at depths of 3,000 meters.

The vessel has excellent wind and wave resistance, global unlimited navigation area operational capability, and outstanding annual submarine cable laying capacity. The ship is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026 and will be a key piece of equipment in the domestic high-end submarine cable construction sector.

On the same day, Zhongtian Technology delivered a special report titled “Marine Power Interconnection and Deep-Sea Scientific Research Innovation,” sharing the company’s technological accumulation and industrial layout in the fields of submarine power transmission and marine optical fiber sensing. As offshore wind power evolves toward deep-sea, large-capacity, and long-distance transmission, and as demand for deep-sea resource exploration and marine scientific research continues to grow, submarine power and optical fiber sensing networks have become the core foundation supporting deep-blue energy development and marine exploration. Zhongtian Technology will continue to improve its integrated “communication, sensing, and energy” marine industry chain, delivering full-chain solutions for the development of the global marine economy.
