On February 3rd, the Hebei Provincial Department of Transportation held the 2025 provincial transportation “Most Beautiful” series exhibition event with the theme “Strong Transportation Province, I Am the Pioneer.” Ten individuals, including Zhao Jikun, Zhang Tiezhu, Dong Jianfeng, and Gu Yu, were recognized as Hebei Province’s “Most Beautiful Transportation People,” and roads such as the Tangjin Canal Scenic Road in Fengnan District, Tangshan City, were announced as Hebei Province’s “Ten Most Beautiful Rural Roads.”
Song Rentang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Transportation, attended the event and delivered a speech. He stated that the “Most Beautiful” series exhibition allows everyone to see how the most beautiful roads, connecting mountains and seas, linking urban and rural areas, string together the happy lives of countless households; and how groups of advanced models, who are pragmatic, responsible, and dedicated to service, converge into a mighty force for continuous struggle. He expressed the hope that, with beauty as the medium and beauty perpetuating beauty, the spirit of “most beautiful” would take deep root and become a common practice. This would jointly paint a magnificent picture of high-quality development in transportation during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, making new and greater contributions to striving to write the Hebei chapter of Chinese modernization.
The exhibition event, through forms such as situational dramas, live interviews, narrative storytelling, and opera performances, showcased the spirit and character of Hebei’s transportation personnel—their silent perseverance, courageous advancement, measuring thoroughfares with their steps, and interpreting responsibility through practical action. The event also introduced the 2024 “Ten Most Beautiful Rural Roads,” including the Grand Canal Embankment Top Road in Cangzhou City, and the “Ten Most Beautiful Self-Driving Roads,” including the Zhangjiakou Grassland Sky Road.
It is reported that the 2025 Hebei Transportation “Most Beautiful” series exhibition event was launched in June 2025, aiming to vigorously promote the spirit of transportation, unearth advanced industry models, and gather positive energy within the industry. The event was simultaneously live-streamed online, attracting nearly 6 million viewers and receiving widespread attention from all sectors of society.
