Keel laying of 7700-ton /chemical tanker No. 7 built by Hangtong Shipbuilding

On June 30, the keel laying ceremony for the 7700DWT /chemical tanker Hull No. 7, built by Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding, was held. Li Haifeng, Deputy General Manager of Hangtong Shipbuilding, along with representatives of the shipowner, classification surveyors, and relevant company personnel, attended the ceremony.

The vessel has an overall length of 103.88 meters, a molded breadth of 19 meters, a molded depth of 10 meters, a design draft of 7.2 meters, and a design speed of 10 knots. It is classed with Lloyd’s Register and meets the requirements of unlimited navigation areas. The ship is electrically driven, equipped with two sets of full-rotation rudder propellers and one bow thruster, and is mainly suitable for the transportation of fuel oil, biofuels, and methanol.

After the completion of the keel laying milestone, the vessel will fully enter the main hull construction phase. Hangtong Shipbuilding will continue to strengthen coordination and cooperation, accelerate the progress of subsequent works, and ensure the vessel is completed and delivered as soon as possible.
