The Port Authority of Chalkida was updated about a berthing incident between two cargo ships (C/S) within the commercial port of Chalkida.
During the noon hours today, the Port Authority of Chania was informed by the Unified Coordination Center for Search and Rescue of the H.C.G.-H.N.M.R. (UCCSR) that a 22-year-old foreigner (citizen of Russia), a crew member of a Russian-flagged tanker, which was located 55 nautical miles southwest of Crete, required immediate hospital care.
During the morning hours today, the Port Authority of Kythira was informed about the inability of the passenger-car carrier (/C) ship “PORFYROUSA” N.P. 11732 to approach the port of Antikythera due to adverse weather conditions.
