Jan De Nul, through its subsidiary Compañía Sud Americana de Dragados, obtained the pre-award to carry out the dredging adaptation works in the access channel and north outer harbor of the Port of Buenos Aires.
The Belgian company achieved this after the Administración General de Puertos considered that its offer was better in economic and technical requirements, compared to the other companies that participated in the process.
In particular, Jan De Nul secured Public Tender No. 23/2025, intended for the execution of dredging tasks in the waters of the Buenos Aires port precinct. The work contemplates the total removal of 550,000 cubic meters in strategic areas of the port. The zones include the Canal de Pasaje, maneuvering spaces, and other operational areas.
Deme and Dragados Argentinos S.A. (Dasa S.A.) also participated in the process. Jan De Nul’s offer was USD 4,955,307.43, a figure 35.14% lower than the official budget projected to execute the works.
