CEVA Logistics has announced its strategic support of AirTrunk’s latest hyperscale data centers in Sydney, Australia, and Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The data centers will support the infrastructure behind the growing demands of cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure across the APAC region.

Founded in 2015 in Australia, AirTrunk is a hyperscale data center specialist providing a scalable platform for cloud computing, artificial intelligence and data-intensive customers across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East (APME) region.

CEVA said the Sydney location is among Australia’s largest hyperscale data center campuses, serving the needs of the country’s eastern seaboard. In parallel, the two campuses in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, are premier facilities addressing the rapidly growing digital needs of Southeast Asia.

CEVA Logistics provides AirTrunk with comprehensive end-to-end logistics solutions across Australia and Malaysia, including warehousing, domestic transport, customs clearance and integrated project management.

It has successfully finished the first six-month phase of the major infrastructure project in Sydney and is now supporting the Johor project.

“CEVA manages the data centers’ sophisticated, multi-site operational model throughout the construction journey, handling both the specialized storage and complex transport of heavy-duty infrastructure, such as 45-ton generators and oversized air-cooling towers. At the same time, CEVA teams manage critical components related to cooling and climate control,” the global third-party logistics provider said.

Leveraging its logistics network and strong presence across the Asia-Pacific region, CEVA said it ensures optimal space utilization and outbound efficiency. Its wide array ofsolutions —integrating contract logistics, air, ocean, and ground — also deliver an approach that ensures cross-border freight is seamlessly received, stored and staged for delivery, ultimately supporting the digital future of the region.

“As AI technologies continue to accelerate, we are seeing a significant rise in supply chain demands driven by the rapid expansion of data centers in the Asia-Pacific region, and globally,” said Guy Meredith, vice president of contract logistics, APAC, CEVA Logistics.

“With our strong network in APAC and the support of 1,700 sites worldwide, we are committed to delivering reliable, end-to-end logistics solutions for our customers across technology, industrial projects, consumer sectors, and beyond.”

Daniel Checchin, associate vice president, Supply Chain & Procurement, AirTrunk, noted that delivering hyperscale data centers at this pace requires absolute confidence in the supply chain from the international movement of major equipment through to safe storage, staging and delivery to site.

“CEVA’s end-to-end logistics capability, local execution and proactive coordination have supported our hyperscale data center in Western Sydney by helping us move critical components safely, efficiently and with greater predictability. Strong partners like CEVA play an important role in enabling AirTrunk to deliver the resilient, high-performance data center platform our customers rely on,” he said.

CEVA Logistics offers a broad range of end-to-end, customized solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground and finished vehicle transport in 170 countries worldwide at its approximately 1,700 facilities. In 2025, it reported a revenue of US$18.3 billion and is part of the CMA CGM Group, a global player in sea, land, air and logistics solutions.
