Diana Shipping reaches agreement with Swiss Marine for bulk carrier charter

The shipping company Diana Shipping announced that it has reached an agreement with Swiss Marine for the charter of the Panamax bulk carrier called Crystalia. The agreement will be applied starting from the second week of March.

On the Greek shipping company’s website, details of the contract signed between the two companies were provided “the gross charter rate is USD 16,200 per day, less a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period ranging from March 10, 2027 as a minimum to May 10, 2027 as a maximum. The Crystalia is chartered at a gross charter rate of USD 13,900 per day, less a 5% commission paid to third parties”.

According to Diana Shipping’s projections, the operation of this vessel is expected to generate a total of USD 5.78 million in gross revenue during the minimum agreed period.

The Crystalia is a dry bulk carrier of the Panamax Ice Class category with a deadweight tonnage of 77,525 tons.
