Recently, the Wuhu 128-meter cultural tourism complex pontoon “Wanjiang Mingzhu”, custom-built by Jianglong Shipbuilding (Stock Code: 300589), has successfully arrived. This “cultural tourism giant” standing at the Wuhu Binjiang Tourist Wharf, with its massive scale and diverse functions, is set to become the most iconic new cultural tourism landmark on the Yangtze River inland waterway, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of Wuhu’s cultural tourism industry. As a leading domestic high-end shipbuilding enterprise, Jianglong Shipbuilding once again demonstrates the exceptional strength of “Intelligent Manufacturing in China” in the field of cultural tourism equipment with its exquisite craftsmanship and innovative design.

The “Wanjiang Mingzhu” is a non-propulsion pontoon exclusively designed by Jianglong Shipbuilding for Wuhu’s urban tourism characteristics. It has an overall length of 128 meters, a width of 26 meters, a designed draft of 2.3 meters, and a height above the waterline of 24 meters. The superstructure comprises four levels, with a total floor area exceeding 10,000 square meters, capable of accommodating a thousand tourists simultaneously for onboard experiences.

In terms of design concept, the “Wanjiang Mingzhu” perfectly integrates modern aesthetics with practical functions, giving this giant ship a unique urban identity. Its exterior draws inspiration from the scenery of Wuhu’s riverfront, featuring a classic combination of large-area dark glass curtain walls and a white hull. This not only creates a fashionable and transparent visual effect but also provides tourists with expansive views of the river scenery. Standing on the deck, one can take in the captivating landscape along both banks of the Yangtze River.

The planning of the interior space is particularly ingenious. The superstructure is equipped with sightseeing elevators, multiple large banquet halls, high-end private rooms, and specialty restaurants, capable of meeting diverse scenario needs such as dining and banquets, business meetings, and leisure sightseeing, providing comprehensive high-quality services for citizens and tourists.

From blueprint to physical reality, Jianglong Shipbuilding leveraged its years of accumulated technical experience and R&D capabilities in the high-end shipbuilding sector to overcome numerous technical challenges in the construction of large-sized pontoons. They ultimately presented to the public this comprehensive cultural tourism carrier integrating dining, conferences, sightseeing, and leisure. The completion of this project not only fills a gap for large cultural tourism pontoons on the Yangtze River inland waterway but also stands as a landmark achievement for Jianglong Shipbuilding in expanding the cultural tourism equipment market.
