Particular attention was paid to the operations of the Chengdu International Railway Port – one of the largest transport and logistics hubs in China’s Sichuan Province and a key departure point for China Railway Express routes. The port provides rail connections to Europe, Central Asia, Russia, and Southeast Asia, and also facilitates shipments along the New Western Land-Sea Corridor. During the talks, the participants discussed current transport trends between China and Kazakhstan, as well as the potential for further increasing cargo flows.
Special emphasis was placed on developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route as a key avenue for expanding shipments to Europe and launching new container services. Following the meeting, KTZ Express and the Chengdu port reaffirmed their commitment to jointly developing projects aimed at expanding the route network, enhancing the resilience of international logistics chains, and increasing transport volumes between China, Kazakhstan, and European countries.
