Napoli – The America’s Cup Supplier Portal, the platform created to facilitate the meeting between the demand for goods and services related to the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup and the Italian production system, enters its operational phase. The project was presented at the headquarters of the Unione Industriali Napoli during a meeting promoted together with Confindustria Nautica, during which the business intelligence work developed to support the portal was illustrated.
Representatives of ACE Italy S.r.l., the organizing company of the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup, together with the participating Teams, took part in the appointment. The meeting was an opportunity to present the tools developed to make the consultation of companies registered on the platform and interested in applying as potential suppliers of goods and services for the event more effective, orderly and functional.
With the approach of the Preliminary Regattas, scheduled in Naples from 24 to 27 September 2026, the Supplier Portal progressively enters its full operational phase. The platform is conceived as an information and support tool for ACE Italy and the Teams involved in the competition, without entailing any purchase commitment nor the automatic assignment of supplies or services to the registered companies.
The initiative arises from the collaboration between ACE Italy S.r.l., Unione Industriali Napoli and Confindustria Nautica, with the aim of making available to the organization and the Teams a tool capable of connecting the operational needs of the event with the wealth of expertise expressed by the local and national entrepreneurial fabric. In this context, the business intelligence work aims to enhance the Supplier Portal as a meeting point between organizational demand and industrial, technical and service supply.
During the presentation, Unione Industriali Napoli and Confindustria Nautica highlighted how the project represents a concrete contribution of the entrepreneurial association system to the success of the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup, underlining the value of the event not only on a sporting level, but also as an opportunity for growth for the city, for the nautical supply chain and for the entire production system, with repercussions in terms of industrial, tourist, technological and infrastructural development.

The path will continue in the coming months with a series of thematic meetings dedicated to the main macro-categories of goods of interest. The appointments will take place in Naples and Genoa, on the occasion of the Genoa International Boat Show, and will offer ACE Italy and the Teams the opportunity to delve into their needs, encouraging direct dialogue with companies and potential suppliers.
