Recently, MSC announced the launch of a new independent route service – SAMBAR, connecting China with Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia, providing more direct channels and faster transit times.
Furthermore, MSC will upgrade the PERTIWI route service to establish faster connections from North China and South China to Indonesia, and optimize the ORCHID route service to connect South China and Vietnam.
The above upgrade plans will be implemented starting in October and November 2025 respectively, as detailed below:
SAMBAR Route Service
Port rotation: Dalian – Incheon – Xingang, Tianjin – Qingdao – Dachan Bay – Dong Nai – Laem Chabang – Singapore – Penang – Pasir Gudang – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Busan – Dalian
The maiden voyage is scheduled for October 29, 2025, with the MSC Vigour departing from Dalian, voyage number HR544A.
PERTIWI Route Service
Port rotation: Busan – Dalian – Xingang, Tianjin – Qingdao – Shekou – Singapore – Jakarta – Panjang – Jakarta – Singapore – Hong Kong – Nansha – Busan
The maiden voyage is scheduled for October 29, 2025, with the Athena departing from Busan, voyage number HW544A.
ORCHID Route Service
Port rotation: Fuzhou – Shantou – Hong Kong – Shekou – Yantian – Haiphong – Singapore – Qinzhou – Hong Kong – Fuzhou
The maiden voyage is scheduled for November 5, 2025, with the MSC Makalu III departing from Fuzhou, voyage number HD545A.
