So far in 2025, through the Port of Paracas, located in the province of Pisco, Peru, more than 1,500 cars -mostly high-end- and more than 350 mining machinery and trucks have been imported. These figures were valued as a reflection of the strategic role that the port facility reinforces in the South American country’s automotive logistics chain.
In this way, from January to date, a total of 12 vessels designed for the transport of rolling cargo have been served, the last one being the Ro-Ro Morning Prosperity from Eukor. With its arrival, the unloading of 300 vehicles and machines of different types linked to the clients Inchcape Americas, Komatsu, Ferreyros S.A., Sandvik, Honda and Derco proceeded.
“Thanks to our operational capacity, a congestion-free transport flow and efficient processes, we guarantee a safe, agile and timely unloading,” communicated the concessionaire of the General San Martín Port Terminal.
“We continue working to strengthen the competitiveness of the automotive industry and contribute to the sustainable growth of this sector,” it added.
During the operation of the Morning Prosperity, the Port of Paracas was visited by a delegation from Ian Taylor, Noatum Logistics and TIBA, allowing us to continue “strengthening coordination with our strategic partners,” emphasized the entity.
