They will be used for the operation of ships, tugboats, trains, and port cranes
Venice – Four new simulators for the operation of ships, tugboats, trains, and port cranes were inaugurated at the headquarters of the Accademia Logistica & Mare, in support of the two-year post-diploma courses promoted by the Venetian training center. The new immersive equipment, acquired through a 4 million euro investment, with the technical collaboration of the subsidiary Venice Maritime School (Vemars), will enrich the educational offerings of the Its Marco Polo. Students will thus be able to train in simulated environments that faithfully reproduce real scenarios of navigation, railway operation, and port maneuvering.
