Dsv has announced the completion of the integration of Db Schenker, acquired from Deutsche Bahn for 14.3 billion euros last 30. The operation, explains the Danish group, has led to the unification of the operational structures, digital platforms, and business processes of the two entities, creating a global multimodal platform active in over 90 countries with a staff of 160,000 employees.
In Italy, the process has led to a new managerial structure, in which Davide Uracchi is confirmed in the role of Managing Director for Contract Logistics, while Roberto Scarrone, previously Head of Land Transport for the Cluster Italy Schenker, has taken on the role of Managing Director of Dsv Road. Alfredo Gaio, already Executive Vice President for Italy and Israel, now holds the position of Senior Vice President Mediterranean Region and Managing Director of Dsv Air & Sea, while Martino Caroli, former Cfo of the Cluster Italy Schenker, becomes Vice President Finance Europe Mediterranean and Cfo Italy. Rossella Valier is also confirmed as Senior Director Human Resources of Dsv in the Peninsula.
