In February, coinciding with the Spring Festival holiday, grassroots units of Zhejiang Seaport Group and Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group anchored their goals and made a full sprint. They coordinated efforts to ensure production during the holiday period and achieve a rapid resumption of production after the holiday. They actively responded to the pre-holiday shipment peak and the post-holiday transportation capacity challenges, accelerating the start with practical results and solid efforts, laying a solid foundation for striving to achieve a “good start” in the first quarter.
Among them, Zhejiang Seaport Logistics Group Co., Ltd. completed a sea-rail intermodal transport business volume exceeding 130,000 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. Facing the concentrated recovery of cargo sources after the holiday, the company strengthened the connection of key links such as railway loading and short-distance barge collection at the port, improving the efficiency of the entire transportation process and effectively alleviating the post-holiday transportation capacity shortage. Simultaneously, it increased the frequency of train services on key routes and expanded cargo sources from inland hinterlands, making every effort to ensure smooth post-holiday transportation and helping the industrial and supply chains recover quickly.
Furthermore, the “Yiwu Suxi – Ningbo Zhoushan Port” ZIM e-commerce sea-rail intermodal special train successfully made its inaugural run, further enhancing the radiation influence and market competitiveness of Yiwu’s sea-rail intermodal services.
