GENOA – This morning saw the first meeting between the newly appointed commissioner of the Western Ligurian Sea Port System Authority, Matteo Paroli, and the Genoese maritime agents association (Assagenti).
During the discussion, held at Assagenti’s headquarters, the willingness to maintain dialogue was reiterated, with the aim of identifying shared solutions to promote operational continuity and the development of the Western Ligurian Sea port system.
A moment of constructive exchange also to share challenges and opportunities related to the current phase of major infrastructure works at the port of Genoa.
The president of Assagenti, Gianluca Croce, expressed the category’s full readiness to collaborate, also to highlight the emergencies facing the port of Genoa and suggest common solutions to navigate a complex period marked by difficulties arising from construction sites for new infrastructure while maintaining a strong development trend.
Croce also reaffirmed the category’s constant commitment to promoting the port among all major represented shipping companies, in a year when this “natural” activity will be strengthened by the coincidence of the Association’s 80th anniversary and the Genoa Shipping Week, which will take place in Genoa starting October 13.
