China News Service, Shenzhen, June 18 (Reporter Su Youwei) According to statistical data released by Shenzhen Customs on June 18, from January to May this year, the China-Europe Railway Express (Shenzhen) cumulatively dispatched 102 export trains, with a cargo value of 3.53 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43.7% and 68% respectively.
It is reported that the route layout of the China-Europe Railway Express (Shenzhen) mainly consists of two trunk lines: one departing via Manzhouli to Russia, and the other departing via Alashankou and Horgos to European hinterlands such as Germany and Poland. Among them, the routes to Germany and Poland carry a relatively high proportion of high-value-added goods such as mechanical equipment and electronic and electrical products, driving up the overall cargo value.
Over the five years since the China-Europe Railway Express (Shenzhen) began operation, it has cumulatively opened 28 export routes, covering 47 countries and regions in Asia and Europe, dispatched over 1,000 trains, transported 650,000 tons of goods, with a cargo value exceeding 25 billion yuan, serving over 8,000 enterprises.
To ensure the efficient and smooth operation of this international logistics corridor, Shenzhen Customs has collaborated with railway and logistics platforms to deepen cooperation, comprehensively promoting the “Railway Express Clearance” model, allowing goods to undergo “one-time declaration, one-time inspection, and one-time release”; promoting models such as rail-truck combined transport and trans-Caspian Sea rail-sea intermodal transport, establishing coordination mechanisms with customs at transshipment and exit points to provide enterprises with diverse logistics options; and establishing a “one-on-one” full-process declaration guidance for enterprise issues, round-the-clock appointment customs clearance services, and a green channel for high-value cargo inspection, ensuring that containers are inspected and released upon arrival.
